The Service

A Short List, Serviced Properly

Mowing is straightforward work, and the only thing that separates good from bad is whether someone turns up consistently and pays attention to detail. Cut at the right height for the season, edge cleanly, trim what the mower cannot reach, and blow the hard surfaces off before leaving.

We are honest about capacity. This is an owner-operated business, so the mowing list is short and we keep it close to home. If we are full or you are too far out, we will tell you rather than sign you up and start missing weeks in July. Our main focus in the fall is aeration and overseeding.

Every Visit Covers

Mowing at the Right Height
Cut to the correct height for your grass type and the season, never removing more than a third of the blade. Scalping a lawn in August is how it browns out.
Clean Edging
Sharp lines along driveways, walkways, and bed edges.
String Trimming
Around fences, trees, posts, beds, and anything the mower cannot get to.
Blow-Off
All clippings blown off drives, walks, and patios before we leave.
Telling You What We See
If we notice disease, grubs, drainage trouble, or a thinning patch, you hear about it while it is still small.

Our Process

How We Do It

Look at the Property
We walk the lawn, note size, terrain, slope, gates, and obstacles, and quote a per-visit price.

Set a Regular Day
A consistent day each week or fortnight so you know when to expect us and can leave gates open.

Same Person Every Visit
The owner mows it. No rotating crew learning your property again each week.

Adjust Through the Season
Cutting height and frequency change as growth slows or heat sets in. We adjust rather than running the same blade height in May and August.

Selective Mowing FAQ

Sometimes, and sometimes not. The mowing list is intentionally short and it fills. Ask and we will give you a straight answer rather than a maybe — and if we cannot take you on, we would rather say so than let you down mid-season.

Weekly through the main growing season, and bi-weekly is usually enough during slower stretches in high summer and late autumn. It depends on your grass, how much sun the lawn gets, and whether it is irrigated. We will recommend a frequency after seeing it.

We move to the next workable day, usually within 24 to 48 hours, and let you know. Mowing saturated ground rips the turf and leaves ruts, so we would rather be a day late than damage the lawn.

Yes — mower, string trimmer, edger, and blower. You do not need to provide anything or leave anything out for us beyond access.
